Cubby Clark's life is falling apart.

All she's ever cared about is making music, but then Cubby's toxic ex-boyfriend and lead of her band abandons the group. What's worse, his solo single launches him into overnight stardom when he sings about how bad she was in bed.

The only thing she can take comfort in is her best friends and fellow bandmates, Darcy and Harry. Then an accidental romantic picture of Cubby and Harry goes viral the same night Cubby and Darcy hook-up - something very normal for two obviously, totally heterosexual gal pals! Now, Cubby and her band unexpectedly find themselves in the spotlight as tabloids eat up their rumoured love triangle.

Under the pressure of newfound fame, all Cubby wants is to turn to Darcy, which is impossible with the distance and awkward tension surrounding the once inseparable pair. Now thrust into a whirlwind tour, Cubby and Darcy have the entire summer to unravel the truth of their feelings... or lose each other forever.
